According to a decision of Şişecam and Saint-Gobain to jointly develop flat glass activities in Egypt and Russia,  Trakya Cam acquired 14.87% stake through its subsidiary Trakya Investment B.V.   in   Saint Gobain Glass Egypt S.A.E. (SGGE) in which
Saint- Gobain and local Mansour Maghraby Investment & Development (MMID) also hold stakes.
