The Golden Martenitza Award is presented by "Made in Bulgaria" Union and Ministry of Economy and Energy of the Republic of Bulgaria once a year.

The award is presented in the following categories:

- Local investor
- Foreign investor
- Bank institution
- Media

Trakya Glass Bulgaria EAD is awarded with the Golden Martenitza 2006 in the category of foreign investor.

Awarding ceremony was held in Sofia Cultural Center on 26 February 2007.

Parliamentarians, members of Turkish Embassy of Sofia and industry, trade, bank and media representatives participated in the ceremony, where the Minister of Economy and Energy Mr. Roumen Ovcharov handed their award to Vice Chairman -Flat Glass Executive Director Mrs. Yaraman and Vice Chairman - Glassware Executive Director Mrs. Azeri.
